"'Oregon Springtime' represents one of the many rhododendron varieties that fill my neighborhood in the spring. When I took my camera to gather material on a bicycle ride, I could not resist the pink rhody with vivid red buds. This composition flows with a lot of nice movement. It has a tropical flavor too, which blends nicely with my Hawaiian pieces around the house."
