I’ve been visiting family in Manzanita since 1994 and witnessed much growth, especially in the past five years. Each year I see more cars lining the main street, new businesses appear, and more construction continues. In spite of these changes, through the years Manzanita has stayed true to a certain ambiance that sets itself apart from other coastal communities. For locals, part timers, and visitors alike, the distinctive character of Manzanita still pervades in this special Oregon Coast village.
